    7.62x54r Brass

I do apologize if there is already a thread on this however I could not find one. I have some 7.62x 54r brass that I have collected and was wondering how I can go about selling it. I am unsure anything about the brass except for that it is 7.62x54r. It is a copper color and is in decent condition. I would not say that it is in excellent condition however. It has not been deprimed, tumbled, or resized. Does anyone know what I need to do to this brass in order to sell it? I know that most people like to resize their brass themselves.
the only markings on the casing are a 60 and a 75. That is all the information I have; any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I'll buy it if it's Boxer primed. What's the headstamp?

Boxer or Berdan primed? If it's berdan primed, take it to the scrap yard and recycle it. If it's boxer primed, post it in the classifieds here. Just make sure to read all the rules before posting it for sale.

it's probably Russian from 1975, "60" shows as "Russian State Factory at Frunze, Kirgisia, Russia"

most likely Berdan primed as it is mil surp, and it's copper wash steel cased, not real popular with reloaders

Do you guys know of any Boxer 54R brass for sale and in stock, other than Lapua and Norma? Something a fair bit cheaper, such as perhaps PP?

Shine a flashlight down the hole - if you see two holes then it is berdan primed.
Check with a magnet to see if the case is steel.

If you find either one of these, then recycle it.

Winchester makes 7.62x54 brass. I have about 600 pieces of it and it works well.

I would look at the Prvi Partizan ammo. It works well and also is Boxer/brass, thus reloadable.

Well.. the ultimate goal is to shoot cast through a cherry .308 Finn M91 bore. I may have to resort to shooting PP ammo through something else, if no PP or Winchester (S&B?) brass is to be had otherwise.

AIM is selling loaded Prvi ammo for around $12.50 per 20, which is around .63 cents each, not including shipping. They have both SP and FMJ, I just received a quantity of FMJ and the 180 gr bullet measures .310 to .311 so it should be great for any Russian Mosin or an M39 Finn.

I have used these cases for a while now and I have been very happy with them.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Your standard Prvi ammo should be just fine in your Finn. Try out a box and see how it goes.
