Anyone else hate FN .45 brass? (PICS)

Every so often this crap makes my progressive go CLUNK as the depriming pin hits brass instead of primer. First time I found one of these, it took me a couple mins to figure out it was berdan primed. Im just throwing them out when I find em, unless there is something I should be doing?

In the bottom image you can see the place where my decapping pin hit the brass between the berdan primer holes, and dented it a bit.

I never seen berdan 45 brass. I just found a couple of those pesky SPP 45's today though.

I used to throw those out, now I save them. When I accumulate enough, I'll make a batch of .45ACP using the SPP's. Supposedly you don't even have to change your charge weight using the small primers.

i think their primer hole is off centered or smaller. I get those sometimes on my 9mm... i wasnt careful and it bent my deprime pin ...

Yeap definitely berdan. That sucks that they used brass. Makes it a bit more difficult for us reloaders.

What is the problem? The decapping pin won't fit through the flash hole? It seems to be centered as opposed to Berdan primed rifle ammo with 2 flash holes. Or you can't find primers to fit? The main prob with berdan primed rifle ammo. Never ran into Berdan pistol brass yet.
