I believe all readily available commercial 30/40 cartridges are fairly stout loadings --
Best ammo for krags is cast handloads --
Just about everything from 110gr plinkers to 220gr shoot well in the krag --
The 30/40 is also an easy case to reload.
170gr 311291 and about 32gr of ball c is a shoot all day load.
