    RCBS Chargemaster dispenser

I have to opportunity to buy just the dispenser brand new for $150. I know the RCBS 1500 scale plugs in but can i use this with any digital scale ( I know other ones can't plug in)? I currently have a dillon one that i'd like use this with. Or should I just save up and get the combo?

the combo was built to work together, i'd say it's a good idea to keep it that way.

However, I've not used one, so I can't tell you the accuracy levels compared to your dillon.

All you would have is an electronic trickler. Only the 1500 can communicate and allow it to dispence by itself.

I would get the combo. Natchez has it for $290 and if you spend $300 total you get a $50 rebate from RCBS.

I picked up mine for $280 when it was on sale and also got the $50 rebate. So in the end $230 and a steal!

Mine is nice and accurate after the settings changes and mcdonalds straw trick. Out of 200 rounds loaded, I have only had one over throw by .1

You stick the straw in the dispenser nozzle to elongate it and slow down the trickling. Mine does not have that problem. It trickles fine.

Heres how to change the settings to make it run faster

              Heres the straw trick

After doing both of these improvements, I can dispense 44gr of Varget in 20secs instead of 30. Have only had 1 overthrow in 200 rds made.

AA, ok, thanks for that info. Mine trickles fine also. Normal time for say a 25-06 or 30-06, is about 23 seconds, so i think I'm good. Much appreciate the reply.

I have the combo model and love it! Never had any problems with it and have been using it on a regular basis for over a year now. If you really want some of their products at a good price, call them and ask them about their factory demo models! They come with the same warranty and are basically brand new that were used at trade shows. Some of their stuff is about 50% off retail.
                  Good luck
