Bolt Catch roll pin...Just flush OK?

Building my first. Should the bolt catch roll pin be pressed in (with a punch) past flush (driving pin in from the rear) or is just flush with back of rear lug through which the pin goes OK? I didn't know if it needs to be pressed in to have equal amounts of pin pressed into lugs on front and rear. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for any input. c good
P.S. I'm using the how to build lower intructions on the AR-15.com sight. It does not state how far to drive in the pin.

As long as it's not sticking out the front OR the rear, it's fine.
Perfectly flush to the front or the rear, or somewhere in between, not going to matter...
