does anyone know of a gunsmith in the sacramento area that does headspacing. I keep hearing that needs to be done when you assemble a rifle. I haven't done it on my ar and I was thinking of an fal build. Your help would be appriciated

Each type of rifle headspaces differently.
The AR is not adjustable so all you do is verify that the parts are within spec.
I believe that there are different length bolts available for the FAL so you can correct for excessive headspace if your rifle has that problem.Randall Rausch

Barrel, sight and trigger work on most pistols and shotguns.
Most work performed while-you-wait. -
Not exactly: There are different size locking shoulders in FAL that you have to chose from after you time your barrell. Each type of rifle headspaces differently.

To headspace a FAL you will need at least the go and nogo gauges and pin gauges to tell you what size locking shoulder you will need.I hate people that are full of hate.
