    Speer Load Data

Does anyone have the Speer reloading manual that could look up something for me? I have some 46gr .224 diameter bullets (Speer #1024 FN/Cann) and was looking for the cartridge overall length for Rem 223 using varget. The flat nose has me confused. Most other generic loading data assumes a 40 or 45gr spire bullet. I was going to seat them to the cannelure and crimp.

My Speer manual 14th edition doesn't list #1024, put does list #1023 45 gr spritzer sp with a coal of 2.155.

That's probably because this bullet was intended for 218 Bee cartridge. Thanks.

You should send those little jewels to me for my bee :-)

I agree with your guestimate on using the cannelure but I generally do not crimp.
