Lymans has a lot of cast bullet data- and good info for beginning reloaders. However, one should always have several books, so I also have the Sierra, Lee and Speer books. For most my jacketed rifle rounds, I use Sierra data. Also have Cartridges of the World for reference.

Gun Digest Big Fat Book of the .45 ACP by Patrick Sweeney is 400 pp of very detailed, well
written and illustrated info on the one caliber. Not a book full of .45 pistols pics, but a world of really good information on brass, bullets, powders, primers, reloading, factory ammo and testing, etc., devoted completely to .45 ACP

Got six manuals, think I wasted my coin on the newest Hornady version. I'll probably go get Lyman #49.

Sierra, Lee, & Lyman I rely on Sierra for jacketed bullets first and then Lee and Lyman for Lead.
