OK,
The first loads are done and I am headed to the range.
I made 10 of each using 230 gr Berrys RN bullets over 4.8, 4.9, 5.0, 5.1 and 5.2 grains of Bullseye.
The COL for all of them is between 1.258 and 1.261. The Blazer ammo that I normally shoot measured out at 1.260.
I could not manage to get all of the crimp out. The smallest I could get was
0.470, and the rest of the case is 0.468. This is pretty close to the blazer as well.
I will add to this thread when I get back and let you all know how I did.
If anyone see's any errors in what I have done so far, please let me know.
I did these on a single stage press and checked each case to make sure there was powder, and not a double charge before I pressed in the bullet.
