    Reloading Die Question-- 9mm Hornady.

I just picked up a Hornady Lock n Load progressive with ezjet. It also came with the case loader and 38 Super set of dies.

I've determined the shellpate does not need to be changed BUT I canot figure out what dies I need to load 9mm ammunition.

I cant figure out if some of the 38 super Hornady dies work for the 9mm.

Here is the link to 38 Super Die set LINK

    Anyone know?

I was going to buy a LEE 4 die 9mm set LINK HERE

No, 38 Super dies will not work to reload 9mm ammunition. The 38 Super case is longer so the sizing die will not size the 9mm case down enough.

I have the Lee 4 die sets in 9, .357/.38, .44RM and .45 ACP. They work great, excellent value.

In my professional opinion, dont put lee dies in the hornady press. I did...and I sold them. Yes they worked, but they have to screw almost all the way down in the collar and they weren't consistent enough for me. They needed constant maintenance. I would recommend going with Hornady Dies...I recently received a set of Dillon dies that seem to be working good so far.
