    ***Reloading Class in El Cajon***

    There is no affiliation here:

I just happened into La Mesa Collectibles today to buy some powder and while talking with Rick, found that there is a reloading class this coming Saturday, 4/16 from 10:30 to 13:30. Location: 1485 N. Magnolia Av.

These are the last couple of days to sign up before this particular class.

The classes cost $50 per person.

There will be more (I think that they are all on Saturday's.) and you can call 619.444.9291 for more information on this and upcoming classes.

They have LOTS of reloading loot there and are expecting more in the near future. You might wanna check em out!

Great shop. I just hope they stay open. Running a reloading shop isn't easy in any market, especially this one.

I agree Chris, they are a great place to shop for reloading items, but not much business of late.

The new store location is much better than the old one, right off of 67 & Bradley.

Maybe the classes will help boost the clientele. It seems that there are many more reloader's now joining the ranks.

AB962 was good for something at least. I placed my initial press and equipment order the day the Governator signed it.

A reloading class is not a bad idea. I took it--from someone else a few years back--and I got some good info out of it. Just remember after you're done: the fundamentals are all-important. Don't lose sight of the fundamentals.

Thanks for that. Always looking for a new source of goodies. Mostly bullets. Shipping on those things will kill ya!

                    Fishslayer -

You know, they get used stuff in there quite often.

I bought 100 Speer 148gr LHBWC for $6.50 last week. Brand new in the box (It appeared that someone had brought them in from their loading bench). Midway has them for about $38 - $40 for 500, plus shipping.

I'd say that they have decent deals every so often, but not everything is a swinging deal. Some stuff is priced a little high, but overall, it's very fair. Especially the used gear that they get in.

A couple of years ago I bought a used SDB for $100 there. Although they probably just got it in that morning for $50, it was a deal for me at $100.

They also negotiate with prices so don't be afraid to speak up on used stuff.

Did anyone here go to this class?

                      Was it any good? Recommend?

                      Just curious.
