    My new reloading bench

Just finished this, first decent one I have had. Only took about 5 hours to build, and $70 in materials.

    Nice Job!
Make sure you put up some Manly curtains on that window!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

That looks nice and sturdy. For curtains, glue aluminum foil to the glass.

Those window things, that keep the Zombies & nosy neighbors from checking you out! Or cover the windows in foil, they don't know if you are a grower, or just paranoid!

Nice bench. FWIW get a small wet/dry vacuum in that they are handy for cleaning spills up.

LOL, Didnt think about the sun fading things, it is north facing though. Dont have to worry about neighbors, closest one is 2miles away, and I cant even see her. If I put tinfoil up for curtains, will I still have to wear my tinfoil suit around in the house?

Looks nice, how heavy is it? Might want to anchor it to the wall because when you start resizing rifle brass it will torque and move the desk. My bench weighs 400+lbs. with all the crap I have on it and it still moves a little.

I think something like that would take me a year to build... I'd have no idea where to start lol. Nice job.

Looks nice! However it is not screwed into the wall studs or the floor.

I think we may have used the same plans. I put a piece of better grade ply wood on top and finished it with a nice lacquer. made the thing look a lot better. And instead of having the 2X's on top u have a nice flat surface. Just cut to size, screw on top, and fill holes with putty, then lacquer and you are done. Looks good though. And dont worry bout curtains.

bootcamp, if it wants to torque, I will build another leg that fits into the cross pieces and place it directly under the press, and make it a hair long, so its screwed into the table and TIGHT into the floor.

I am gonna try it like this first, I dont really have a choice to bolt it into the floor.
