    Wolf Rumor heard at gunshow

The gun show in Orange County this weekend was packed as usual. However I did notice in the 3 booths that MiWall sets up in none had Wolf AK ammo. I asked why not, and basically they told me Wolf in Anaheim, CA owes a ton of money to Tula in Russia, so seems no more cheap Wolf ammo from MiWall. MiWall had the best prices on x39 last show at $169. plus tax a case. Seems they will have to be getting their ammo from a different importer now, WPA, or Bear/Barnaul, Ulynovask, etc. Tula was the only Russian maker I know of that made copper AK and 223 ammo for use here in SoCal ranges, so stock up on Yugo AK surplus while it is still cheap.

I have noticed that everyone seems to be out of the wolf small pistol primers.

Powder Valley told me they are out of stock and not taking backorders on them. They are not even listed on their site.

At Powder Valley, there is a huge difference in price between the Wolf primers compared to the Tula primers to the tune of $5.00 per 1K.

Tula made much of the stuff for Wolf. MiWall had a very good relationship w/ Wolf and bought the stuff by the trailer load. At gun shows here and AZ, no one could come close to their prices on Wolf. I wonder if Privi who makes Wolf Gold is still going to sell them stuff?

2 weeks ago they were exactly the same price. I ordered 10K Wolf and had them swap them over for Tula... The price was no difference. Guess they changed the price.

Just checked again... $20/1K for either. What specific item are you looking at? KVB9 (SP) are the same.

WOLF LARGE PISTOL PRIMERS (KVB45)- per 1000 $15.50
TULAMMO LARGE PISTOL PRIMERS (KVB45)- per 1000 $20.00

WOLF LARGE RIFLE PRIMERS (KVB7)- per 1000 $16.00
TULAMMO LARGE RIFLE PRIMERS (KVB7)- per 1000 $24.00

WOLF SMALL RIFLE PRIMERS (KVB223)- per 1000 $15.50
TULAMMO SMALL RIFLE PRIMERS (KVB223)- per 1000 $20.00

They don't list small pistol primers in the Wolf brand. They only have the magnum primers in Wolf small pistol for $20.00 KVB9M, which is the same price as the Tulammo.
Where did you see small pistol primers (non magnum) listed on the PVI website?

The small pistol primers were listed @ the same price as the others, $15.50/k I think.

I emailed them since they were not listed on the site, and PVI told me they are not listed because they dont have them in stock and they will not except backorders on them either.
