    Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller?

Just wondering if anyone has experience with the Hornady cam-lock bullet puller? Was recently given a fairly large quantity of bad reloaded ammo and need to pull it. I have a kinetic bullet puller, but looking for something easier due to the amount I have to pull. Any other suggestions would be great.

I have one (along with a kinetic as well). For a quick pull, I use the kinetic, but it can "damage" the tip of a bullet given the type of type/bullet/force and can be a bit messy with powder and such. Great for pulling on practice sizing round. For primed/charged rounds I prefer the cam-lock. Cost can add up if you load multiple sizes, as you need a collet (~$10 ea) for ea size and they don't come in all caliber sizes. Just like any other die, you have to seat it properly and then adjust the handle to the right tension before lowering it and then lowering your ram. Does a nice job though. No damage to the tip and minor scuffs/scratching to the sides. Just my .02.

Stick a foam ear plug into the impact puller to protect the bullet.

if you are looking at 50 or more that need pulled, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the Hornady. I have one and really like it.

Buy the Hornady. I've used other collet pullers and I like the Hornady best.

I have a RCBS Kinetic and the Hornady Collet puller.

For rifle, I use the Hornady, for sidearm, the RCBS.

I would invest in both types.

I personally use the Hornady Cam-lock bullet puller with good results. I've actually bought one for each rifle caliber to save a bit of time switching between cases that might need to be pulled. Good value for the dollar and they do a good job.
