For .40 cal? I'd have to look at the manuel @ home later. I don't recall seeing bullets in 140 grn for a .40. I load a lot of pistol w/ Unique. I'll look @ home.
You might go online to Unique's websight to see if they have a recipe for 140's.Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.
Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Any load for a 155 (or 180 for that matter) will be fine for a 140.

Its for a .40, Ive looked at 3 different books and a no go cant find any data for a 140 gr bullet. Unique's web site don't show any thing for that light of projectile. These are bear creek bullets if that helps.Comment

For a given load, you can always go down in bullet weight with the same OAL and powder charge. Not so the other way. Inertia is a mo-fo. So...I'm sure there's more than a few 155gr. lead bullet loads out there. Use with confidence.

I've loaded up to 5.5gr under a 180gr. So that would be safe under a 140 also. Lee has some 145gr lead data.
145gr Lead at 1.115
AA#5 7.2-8.0gr 1179fps
AA#7 9.0-10.0gr 1171fps
AA#2 5.9-6.6gr 1155fps
AA#9 10.8-12.0gr 1123fps
Unique is listed as up to 6.5gr max under a 155 lead cast at 1.130"
These should all be safe loads for a 140gr bulletComment
