Looking for a source for surplus military powder.

Looking for a source for surplus military powder. Trying to cut my cost down even more on my .223 plinking ammo. Right now I am using Ramshot X-Terminator which I get for 119.99/124.99 per 8 lbs. Anybody have any good/bad experiences using reclaimed powder?
    Thanks

Use much mil surplus powder in my 50bmg's. A friend uses it for other stuff. Try Hi-tech ammo or pats reloading.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Hi-Tech is good, but remember you have to pay shipping and hazmat fees. WC844 is $85 for 8 lbs, but add on hazmat and shipping and its $126/8lbs. While it's important to work up loads for new lots of powder each time you buy a new jug, with milsurp it is critical that you do so. The consensus is that WC844 is about 10% more energetic than Tac or H335.

You can certainly save money by buying in large quantities and if you buy four 8 pound cans, they waive the hazmat fees. That's where you really save. (about $371/32 pounds to your door)

        Thanks

Thanks, both sites look good. I would have thought the prices would be alot lower?
Guess buying X-Term ($125.00) form powder valley is not to bad. But saving $40 per 8 lbs is looking good.

Hi-Tech Ammunition Ammo offers Reloading Supplies, Reloading Components, Bullets for Reloading, Ammunition Components, Incendiary Bullets, Tracer Ammunition.

Looks like WC 844 Pull Down - (Cross reference loading data for H335) for $85 is not to bad if I bought 24 lbs to save on the fees and shipping. Just wondering on the performace of the powder?

Wish I could get my hands on a few pounds of WC 844 to do some test loads.

            844

When I was shooting 69gr Sierra's I used 844. 24.5gr with OAL of 2.255. It was good enough to get me to NRA Master
