is it cheaper to buy or reload?
i picked up about 600 brass the past two weekends at the range and was wondering if im sving a little money or is the grouping is better to reload?

How much do you shoot? More than 200 rounds a month? Reload.

Cheaper to buy.
Why?
If you buy the bullets, you go to the range, shoot a hundred, feel guilty, then go home.

If you reload, after shooting 200 rounds, you feel great and come back 4 times as often.

The bottom line is that you will not spend any less total cash at the end of the year. You will probably actually spend more year after year. However you will shoot more.

if your gun works well with russian made steel its cheaper

my general rule of thumb is that over $6 a box reload because it is about that much trouble for me to reload with the cleaning, lubing, sizing, trimming, truing the primer pocket(on found brass),

I guess it is like car ownership. Some have others do all the maintenance , others know them inside out and do it all themselves.

i shoot every weekend and sometimes once or twice a week...and have been reloadin for my 300 and 243 wssm

Do the best of both worlds. The cheap Tula and Ulyanovsk .223 is steel cased, but *Boxer* primed. Yes, the new Russkie ammo's Boxer primed! So just buy that, reload the steel cases a few times and then pitch 'em. As has been said, that assumes your gun likes steel-cased ammo (mine likes it just fine).
