    Remington UMC 9mm

Anyone having problems with these. I bought the 250 pack at walmart about a week ago and had five FTF. I noticed that they are about a few mm shorter than my federal and winchester 9mm.

Is it normal for 9mm Luger ammo to be different sizes like this?

Sorry for the bad pic but the UMC is on the left and Winchester on right.

Are they the same grain and shape bullet? I use the mega packs all the time and haven't had any problems with FTF. Perhaps you got a bad batch or, depending on your pistol, you may need to clean your firing pin channel. What type of pistol are you shooting?

I've never had any issues with Rem UMC 9 in my glocks. Perhaps you should call the manufacturer and show them the pic. Have you shot the rest of it? If not, they may buy back what is left.

Variations in OAL are normal. Heavier bullets are usually longer, and create a longer OAL.

I actually just found a short fat bullet like that one on the left in the box with all the others looking like the one on the right. They look like different bullets to me, probably not too dangerous to shoot, but it could be heavier, and therefore have the wrong amount of powder.

Do the rest of the rounds of yours look like that on the right? I wasn't sure I'd shoot that shorter one.

All my rounds were like the ones on the right. They are 115 gr. I already shot all of them, I am using a CZ 75 SP-01.

              Thanks, that's good to know!
