WC844 is the most common powder for 5.56 MM ammo loaded in U.S. Military ammunition. I have used WC844 in .223 Rem. /5.56 mm, .308 Winchester and 30/06 in the M-1 Garand.

You can use H-335 load data as a base. Always start 10% below maximums and work up. I have found WC844 to be very close to H-335 data. A very useful surplus powder.
