    whoa...cci quality control?

    Was loading up some .45acps in my turret press and went to refill the primers out of a 1k box of cci large pistol primers there was a box of 100 MAGNUM LP's...what would've happened if i didnt notice and loaded them up? my load is 230gr berrys over 6.0gr unique.

    If you are near maximum loads and use a magnum primer where a standard one is called for, it can cause a pressure spike. If you stay within low to medium loads, it shouldn't cause big problems. If you still want to use them, keep your loads at least .5gr lower than you normally would. Otherwise, take them back or call CCI up and I'm sure they'll make it right.

      Depends. Some brands market there large primers as "standard/magnum", like winchester. Ive just loaded the same with both, even using mag only labled primers.

      I never expereinced an issue.
