      Most .223/5.56 barrels are not going to stablize a 45 grain bullet well. You might want to check your twist rate and/or olny load a few rounds until you test them.

          arn't the shorter twist rates for heavier bullets? thats what it says on this box of 77gr sierra match kings that's on my desk. that said, he might have trouble stabalizing 45 gr in a 1/7 twist. there is one way to find out, and that's to load some up and find out.
