Moly coated bullets

used them for quite a while. Worked much better then bare lead for me, but still left some of the moly coating in my barrel.
Switched to berrys plated hollow points, work a bit better for me.Sandstorm Custom Rifle Slings : Custom Paracord slings

I use bear creek moly lead. Those suckers shoot clean. Love em.Comment

I have always wanted to try Bear Creek bullets. I sent out for a sample pack of Black Bullets International. I really liked them. No lube means less smoke. I kept the velocitys the same. No problem with coating the barrel.Comment

Are we talken lead cast or copper bullets? I never used moly coated copper jackets but I use a hell of a lot of Bear Creek bullets for most of my handgun loads. Barrels stay lead free all the way up to 1200 fps. I never tried any higher velocities than that but I bet they would work. I run thousands in my Cowboy Shooting guns before I clean the bores. I even put them down the pipes on my Glock factory barrels without an issue. My only complaint is my fingers get black from handling each one when reloading.Cowboy Action Shooter

I tried them in 45ACP. I'm not sure which is harder to remove from the barrel, the moly or the lead. I don't shoot them any more.Comment

Doesnt surprise me, the FPS is far to high in a hipowered rifle. Moly coated is ment for around 1000fps +/-
I had the same problem. Bumped up the powder charge a little bit, it tamed it a bit. My original .45 loads were powderpuffs though.Sandstorm Custom Rifle Slings : Custom Paracord slings

I have used literally tens of thousands of bear creeks moly coated pistol bullets in 40 and 45 in my para and sti pistols as well as my xd with absolutely NO fouling, I dont even clean my bbls.Comment

I have had nothing but good experiences with the Bear Creek moly bullets. They work great in all of my handguns from 38 to 45. They are really slick, kinda like trying to hold water in your hand.
All of my loading is for punching paper though, so I am not familiar with any high velocity moly loading.Comment
