    Hercules vs Alliant Blue Dot?

Are Hercules and Alliant Blue Dot the exact same thing? I have the opportunity to buy a sealed jug of Hercules from a friend and I'd like to know if it's the same as the Alliant that I've been using.
    Thanks!

    It isn't, but it is?

Same powder. Alliant was once Hercules (that's the short version).

On the other hand, while I have no direct info on Blue Dot, there is evidence that some powder strengths have varied significantly over the past 50 years.

It should be similar (if it has not degraded) but it might be best to load light and chronograph to get an idea of how different it is from the modern Blue Dot that current manuals were developed with.
Left, not "liberal", not what gets called "left" in American politics, Actually Left, like the government shouldn't be set up to favor certain groups, radically and fanatically left, like the ideas in the American Constitution (except that crap about 3/5ths of a person).

Ok thanks. I currently only load 10mm with this powder and I load on the lighter side anyway, but to be sure, I'll do some testing before doing a large batch.
