So I guess that southern CA isnt enforcing the handgun ammo restrictions. They kep it behind the counter in some cases, yes, but no tax increase or any of the other BS. Does anyone know whats going on with this? Most people still ship handgun ammo to CA as well. Maybe its just another apathetic enforcement by CA government...this is unusual for firearms though.

AB962 was ruled unconstitutional and thrown out, primarily because the law did not define exactly what "handgun ammunition" was.
Last year, the microstamping portion of AB962 was put on hold because there was only one company that could source the equipment, which would be a violation of antitrust laws.
But after one failure in early January where a judge tossed the CGF case because it "wasn't ripe", another judge in another case a couple of weeks later threw out the whole freaking thing.- Rich
