    brass ques?

    my brass has like black build up in the flashhole..is this because i am seeding the primer to deep? or just the primer?

      That is normal. You can clean it out with a primer pocket brush or do as many of us do and just de-cap and reprime.
      A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

          Seating the primer is not the issue, like what the Chief posted it's normal.

            If the build up gets too bad, I clean it out with a small screwdriver or a pick.

              Totally normal. But if you're going to clean that stuff out with picks or brushes, I would do it with caution. Primer pocket residue is the single-most concentrated form of lead you will find in the reloading process, since it's basically lead styphnate blast residue. You don't want to breathe that stuff in or ingest it.
