Advice please

I'm sure this has been answered already but how much would I save by doing my own reloads? Any advise on a how to get started would be great. I did some research and found out that I need a tumbler, reloading press dies, recipe book etc etc. Can someone recommend a good reloader machine which will accomodate my calibers ? I need a good solid kit not 2 expensive.

I need to reload the following. 9mm, 10mm , 45 acp and 44 magnum.

If you shoot the same amount of ammo you do save about 40-60%. However, you usually shoot 40 -60% MORE, thus no savings.

If you ignore set-up costs and don't change your shooting volume, the savings will be significant. Unfortunately, you're a human being; as such you'll likely shoot more since it costs less, and thereby eat into your overall savings.

Savings level compared to factory ammo for 9mm, 10mm , 45 acp and 44 magnum.

10mm and 44mag are VERY SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS. 45acp Moderate to highish levels of savings. 9mm sorta saving, you really gotta hit the bulk rates to make it count.

Other than 44 and 10mm it is really hard to beat Wolf's prices. If you buy primers by the brick, powder by the 1lb, and bullets by the hundred if will cost more than Wolf.

nope, this is for 9mm, I haven't see 9mm under $10 a box for years, and the prices are on the high side, (maybe not the bullets but they are close) I cast my own handgun bullets so I am at ~$3.00 per box of 50 in 45 ACP

Your cost for the bullets seems a bit high...
I know your point is that you could walk into a reloading store and buy these things off the shelf, put them together, and still save money. However, the bullets are one thing that would really save some money by buying them on the internet. Just saying.
