    How much RL15 for a 55gr FMJBT?

Alliant's site recommends RL7, but I think RL15 should work.

    Anyone got any recipe?

If you have a chrono, it (Sierra) states the best accuracy, 2900 fps is the verlocity to achieve with an OAL of 2.250".

They sent me an email several months ago.... since I was inquiring about it as well. Have not have a chance to experiment with 55 grains since I am hooked on 68 grains ...Well for now.

Also, if you read the 69 grains SMK, it takes .4 grains to gain 50 fps. so that means it would achieve about 75-80 fps for the 55 grains with a .4 grain increments.

I use 25gr of RL15 behind the Sierra 80 smk for my 600 yard service rifle load. So start at 24.0gr and work up. You'll probably end up at 26gr.
