    Hornady New Dimension Dies

    Reloaders,

    Just wondering for those of you that have tried the Hornady New Dimension Dies - how do you like those?

    Have you also tried the Microjust Seating Stem?

    Has anyone tried their custom die service? Any comments?

      I have Hornady dies as well as RCBS/Redding/Lyman and sorry to say a couple of Lee dies.

      I like the Hornady collet seating dies better than the RCBS regular seating dies. I tend to like the RCBS decapping stem better. But I have had no problems with the Hornady dies. Same holds true for the other brands except the lee dies. The lee locking???rings are pure crap. I have replaced them all with true locking rings.
      A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

          I like the Hornady decapping dies, they don't brake when you run into a brindon primer (you will have to stop and reset the pin)

          Just last week I hit on on 9mm, it just pushes the pin up and you have to reset it.

              Save your money on the micrometer seating plugs and just use the depth gauge portion of the calipers you should already have to measure minor adjustments. Works great!
