    Tula Ammo primer in backward

Checkout the blooper I got with tula Ammo. We were out shooting my Stag in .223 & came across this primer pushed in backwards. I never put it in the gun because it stood out like a sore thumb in the box.
I wonder if this is normal. has anyone else seen this?

It is an unusual happening, but tells you something about their inspection proceedures, or lack off.

It happens like once said and it's just not Russian ammo. Someone on calguns also showed a factory federal hydra shock round that was crushed when the bullet was seated. I once seen a Remington UMC 9mm round with the primer pressed in sideways.

Some pot smoking yutz laggin on the job put that primer in bass-ackwards.

See kids, do not smoke pot when handloading ammo.

I have a Remington .223 round just like that. That was the cause of one of my two non operator induced AR malfs since Y2K.

Well, at least we now know they're Boxer primed.

If you're set up to reload .223, I'd suggest just pulling the round apart, gently pushing the primer out with a universal decapper die, and reloading the thing.
