I remember reading some posts about buying cheap cleaning medium at petfood store's. What do I ask for, what do they use it for?
A little help Thanks Tim

FYI,,, Walnut good, corn cob bad.
Lizard owners don't have to pry little chunks of corn cob out of their critters necks with a dental pick to have fun with them. It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.Comment

If grain size is your problem with the corn media (Wal Mart stuff is pretty large), then try the Drillspot blast media. Free 3 Business Day Shipping with either one.

Cool, the CGN braintrust comes through again.
I use the wallyworld corncob with my big stuff, but it inevitably gets mixed in with the rifle mix. Nothing like trying to decap milspec primers and Orville Redenbacher rejects through the same flash hole. It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.Comment

Go to your local feed store and ask for 1/8" corn cob. My local feed store has it in stock for reloaders.

My local feed store has a 50 lb bag of walnut for ~$14.50 out the door!! I will never again buy the stuff that has the expensive label that reads: tumbling corn cob/walnut media.

I use walnut myself, and the feed stores are the way to go.

Left, not "liberal", not what gets called "left" in American politics, Actually Left, like the government shouldn't be set up to favor certain groups, radically and fanatically left, like the ideas in the American Constitution (except that crap about 3/5ths of a person).Comment

I have heard bad things about rice.
Something in regards to stickiness and a bad residue.
