ADE and Black Talon Ammo

We all know that Black Talon Ammo is frowned upon, and is not the cop killer it's been made out to be. Given this, has anyone out there in the Calguns arenas ever heard of or used ADE ammo and know of it's legality and performance? ADE stands for Alpha Delayed Expansion Ammunition. As far as I know, it is not made anymore and info available for it is limited. Thx

Is it the ones that came in a metal "tuna can"? I remember sometime in the 90's American Ammo (A-Merc) making something called that. I think a lot of gimmic type ammo was coming out around that era like ceramic bullets, teflon coated, etc.
