    Scale Questions...

Ok guys I need to buy a scale for myself (i dont want to use my friends' scales anymore). Im looking at the RCBS 502 magnetic scale as I used ione on saturday an really liked it or Im looking at the RCBS RangeMaster 750 Electronic scale....

Should I just spend the extra money on a digital scale like the rangemaster 750?

    Thanks

I have a simple beam scale, a Lee, IIRC, and it is very accurate. It is also VERY slow.

I think you are loading for rifle, precision, as I do with a single stage, my Dillon is for my other calibers.

My main beef with a beam scale is it swings and swings until it levels out.

My next purchase will be an electronic scale/dispenser, just to speed up the process. I don't have a lot of time, and the saved time with a dispenser will really help me out.

While I don't have any direct experience with this one, the RCBS Chargemaster is awesome. I imagine this is just as good. After using a friend's, I believe this will be my next reloading equipment purchase.

You've bought Lee for everything else...so why not their scale? Actually, I've read some positive reports on their scale. It should be fine.

I have a beam scale and I could only imagine that an electronic scale will be faster and easier to see. And though it works fine.. I'd get the digital scale.

You'd still have to use a trickler (which sucks up a bit of time) to get exactly what you want, but at least you don't have to watch the beam bounce around and put your head to the same level as the scale so you're not throwing off your measurement by looking at it from an angle.

I don't load in mass quantity and am using a nice older RCBS beam so I don't mind.

I'm not trolling. I was serious about the scale. I've read good reviews.

I have this one and I like it a lot. I think it is much better than the Lee piece of crap scale. Just my opinion.
