    Lithuanian 308

Anyone here ever shoot this stuff?
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

Looks like a pretty good deal. You get "reloadable" brass and it's fairly new production. Buy a battlepack and tell us how it is!

Just out of curiosity, what's the advantage of this over, say, American Eagle 308? It's reloadable and about the same price. I guess maybe the PVC cases are nice for SHTF ammo or whatever...

This isn't a sarcastic question, though it may come out thatway... Is it just the idea that it's in a "battle pack" and it has to better if it's military?

At 50+ cents a pop, it better be good.

Kind of like it has to be better if it's tactical...

Military cases usually have crimped primer pockets, sealant at the case/bullet joint, and (usually) slightly thicker brass. It should have longer life than commercial loads, and thicker brass means you can expect more reloads.

If you're plinking, I'd go with what's cheapest. Surplus ammo is probably not optimum for a precision bolt gun. If you shooting it in a standard battle rifle, 2-3 moa will be sufficient. Plastic battle packs can be approximated with a vacuum food sealer & bag material.
