.50BMG/30.06 does anyone have any?!

i must have called about 20 gun shops no no one has .50 ammo ammo man is out, aim doesnt have any, ammunitionstore has 30.06, is the greek hxp good? but no fifty

50BMG is dried up everywhere.

Decent price 30.06 is in the same boat. Don't know anything + or - about the Greek stuff.

Ain't nothin' cheap anymore.

The Greek HXP ammo is what the CMP is selling.. it is the almost the best mil-surp ammo out there (the Danish AMA is the best) beware though!! the Greek ammo is a steel jacketed bullet and most CA ranges have banned them as well as steel cored bullets due to the risk of fire. I have been buying it like crazy from the CMP since it came out

Looks like there are guys up and down the state that will sell you .50 bmg, you just need to speak up on that. Now for the CMP, yes you need to fill out the paperwork and belong to a CMP club to order from them.

If you are in NorCal, I can help you with both 50 and CMP .30cal ball if you are not looking for a lot of either one and I'm sure there are guys in SoCal that can do the same..location is everything.

However, if you are in SoCal, most ranges will not let you shoot FMJ with any steel in them, which both of these rounds you are asking about contain.

I have some 30-06 sitting in my garage. I'm not sure how much but it's not a lot. Maybe 20-30 rds. I'm in San Diego. Let me know if you want it. If not, I'm going to have to go buy a rifle that shoots 30-06.
