Anyone here load IMR 4895 through the Dillon powder bar? Is it easier to use the large bar or the magnum bar?? How does the powder meter through it? It will be for 30-06.

Ron - large powder bar works but on large charges like you're running the magnum bar makes things run a little happier.

I use it in my Dillon for 223 all the time. It meters fine in the large powder for 223 sized loads.Frank

Loading about 47 grains of IMR 4895 with a 168 grn bullet. I'm loading 2460 right now for my .223 and it meters just fine. Just wondering about loading for that 30-06 though. Thanks for the info!!Comment
