    Current Miwall 7.62x39 pricing

Did anyone that went to the Costa Mesa show this weekend catch the prices on brass 7.62x39? Surplus? I'd like to know before I spend the $20 (ticket + parking) to get into the show.

    Thanks!

That IS a great price for Wolf (steel cased)!

Did they have any Brass cased (corrosive?) surplus ammo for sale?

In case anyone was planning to buy 7.62x39 at one of the shows this weekend, I found out some Miwall pricing today:

$49.95 for 200 rounds of Yugoslavian Surplus 7.62x39mm (Brass-cased, Berdan primed, Corrosive)

        $89.95 for 500 / $169.95 for 1000 rounds of 9mm Reloads (Once fired)

$16.95 for Federal .22LR Bulk Pack (525 rounds)

        $5.95 for 100 / $28.95 for 500 rounds of CCI MiniMag .22LR

Of course you have to check the shipping costs on all these, but here are some other possible sources (if you wanted 1260 rounds, that is).

          J&G Sales
7.62x39 Yugo FMJ 124GR Brass case military ammo boxed. 1260rd Case
          Price: $209.79; quantity price 2+ $199.71

I think the shipping is about $45 for one crate on this one.

          Wideners:
Yugo 7.62x39 M67 FMJ Ammunition $225.00/1260rnd WOODEN CRATE
Widener's Reloading and Shooting Supply has ammo and reloading supplies for sale at cheap prices. Find out why we're the best deal on the web today!

          Sportsman's guide:
900 rds. 7.62x39 mm 123 - gr. FMJ Ammo for $164.97 or Club Price $156.72

            Thanks!

The Sportsman's Guide prices look great for 900 rounds. Sadly, it is all currently out of stock.

However, they do let you backorder them. At least you'll get them sometime...
They have been behind on those for a while. I was going to order some pre-ab962, but the backorder date was just after 2/1/11. I haven't checked back until now and the backorder date is in March. So, it seems that they're filling orders, but they can't get em fast enough.

                Here's a Sportsman's guide cart trick:
When you hit checkout, they will ask you to join their club. The deal they offer depends on what you have in the cart at the time. High cost items = bad offer. Just put a $20 item in the cart, hit checkout, say yes to the club and they will give you a double-discount for this order and free shipping. The club costs $30, so a large order is needed to pay it off. When you're a club member, they give you 5% off regular prices. So, the double discount is 10%. There are lots of club coupons on the internet too (typ. $10 off $100 or $15 off $150).
                1. Open up separate windows for the items you want to buy.
                2. Put something small in the cart, then hit checkout.
                3. Accept the offer.
                4. Go to the other windows and add all the items you actually want.
                5. Go to the cart and proceed with the checkout (at this point you can remove the small item).
                6. Enter the coupon code SG1414 for $15 off $150 or more.
                7. Proceed with checkout and get an extra 5%, $15 off, and free shipping.

If you put two 450 packs of 7.62x39 ammo in the cart, the discounted price will be $153. Save $15, add $30 for the club, add $3 for signature, free shipping ($18 value).
Final price is $171 for 900 rounds, or $0.19 ea.

If you put two 900 packs of 7.62x39 ammo in the cart, the discounted price will be $297. Save $15, add $30 for the club, add $3 for signature, free shipping ($20 value).
Final price is $315 for 1800 rounds, or $0.175 ea.

For future orders, you'll save 5% and you can use other coupons.

That was quite a bit of interweb acrobatics!

Just as I was about to pay more from AIM Surplus so I could get the stripper clips (I have none)...

                  Thanks!
