Am I getting carried away with reloading?

I am brand new to reloading, but I find myself highly addicted. I have started using my vacuum sealer (sealer only) and started labeling 50 round packs. Has all the detailed info right on the package, and its also saved to my computer. Seems cheap to buy a roll of plastic, but I also have MTM reloading boxes. This is what results after running out of boxes.

Carried away? Only when you start reloading for calibers you don't even shoot...
Or start talking about reloading Berdan-primed cases...

That's a great idea actually. I ran outta MTM boxes, so I started using ziploc bags. Not the best, but it held up for the range just fine. I'd suggest a couple things:

-Doing a partial vacuum to get *some* air out
-Getting some small desiccant packets and tossing them in along for long term storage
-Find a good SHTF / All purpose load and start packing them in larger quantities, 100-250+

I might start doing that to mine after I get a dedicated progressive, as opposed to a Lee Turret mounted on a Workmate in an apartment.

Ok I really like the idea of a desiccant pack in each bag. Maybe having a few 100 round bags. Now, the bags I am using are polyethylene bags, they heat seal very well but because they are not waffled on one side they will not vacuum. These bags are ready to drop ammo in and seal up. Very strong. They come in all sizes and are very cheap.

I tried using the vacuum with vacuum bags, but the rounds get tight as a brick in the package. You can't even move one if you tried. Not sure I like that so I went this route. Going to buy some desiccant packs now. Oh and BTW ANTO the Mosin 91/30 shoots great.

I remember doing the same thing when I started reloading 20 years back. It was part of my routine since I hated putting them into plastic ammo carriers. Now I just throw my reloads into an ammo can for caliber.

                      Looks nice!!

I am still using the 500 count cardboard boxes my lead bullets came in from Western Nevada...last bought in 1999....the last show at the L.A. Fairgrounds in Pomona. Those boxes are sturdy!!

Am I the only one who saw that photo and wondered how it'd look framed, over a fireplace?

I use empty shotgun shell boxes a lot of the time. Compact, easy to stack, and you can fit just the right amount of rounds in one to not be too heavy to throw in a backpack.

Looks clean and professional actually - I like it. I bought a bunch of plastic ammo boxes for mine. Before that I was just using a bunch of old commercial ammo boxes that I would dig up out of the trash at the range, or save from my own ammo. I printed out labels for each one and taped them on. Now I just bought those peel n stick labels from Lyman and stick em onto the plastic ammo boxes.

                              I use these: http://www.glad.com/containers/gladware_containers.php

                              They're usually 4 for $2.50-$3.00 at Safeway.
