    Empty brass

I seem to be possessed with collecting empty brass. I probably have 15K assorted. Just how much do you keep on hand?

Probably north of 25k. I wish I could buy it by the drum/pound.

it does not go bad! just keep it until you get a gun for it.

now that you have all this brass start loading it! empty brass is not going to help you when want to go shooting.

i now have ~60k of 9mm....but thats because after a year..my machine is finally ready to go! it loads at 4k of 9mm an hour. i have been saving, but at that rate i will run out.

I treat my brass like beers. If it's empty, fill it up, if it's full, empty it!

I would keep several thousand cases of the rounds you shoot most and atleast 1k of the one's you don't shoot often. Anything else is trade bait or straight sale for more reloading components.

Wish I could too. I am actually running the short end of my supply. All the ranges near me, now sell it to reloading companies, and the police department where I used to get it, won't let me have it or sell it to me if I am a reloader, of course they sell it to a "recycler" in Mexico, who then turns around and resells it to reloaders....nice!
