    Too much reloaded ammo...

My favorite is 223, I shoot bi-monthly about 100-200 and use the brass for about 5 cycles before it goes into the recycling bin. I think I'm up to about 3000 loaded and 4000 preped brass.. is this too much ammo to have? slowly it's getting bigger

I rarely hear the words too much and ammo used in the same sentence.
When asked what qualities he most valued in his generals, Napoleon said, "give me lucky ones."

No such thing as too much. This applies to ammo/firearms/reloading stuff/places to huntor shoot and many other things which are and are not gun related.

Remember 223 ammo was made small just so you can store/carry/use more of it.

We should have a range day. We can time how long it takes to fire off 1000-rounds. Make sure you have a chromed barrel.

It's too much only if the press get's involved and brands you as a nut.
It is only too much if you are not storing it properly and it gets in the hands of the wrong people or goes bad from moisture. Remember, you cannot sell it without proper license's.

too much ammo?! that is not even in my Vocabulary! i just got in 250k of 7.62 blank for the 1919's..... 32k of 7.62x39, ~another 20k of various others.....

load it and store it, the load some more. you need 10k per caliber MIN! load while your young, and shoot when your old.

I am running out of storage space. I probably have about 20 5 gallon buckets of brass alone.
3 buckets of corn media, clean, delube, and polish
                          Clean and dirty buckets for 9, 40, 45, 223, 308.
processed buckets for 223 and 308.
                          sort bucket
                          range pickup bucket
                          scrap bucket

How does everyone manage their supply from pickup to loaded?

I use the pickup brass bucket until its full and then sort. When the clean buckets get to half empty I clean dirty brass and backfill. I process .223 and .308 by the bucket. Load for storage. It is getting cumbersome. I probably have about 40 cubic feet of ammo.

I sort at the range whatever 2-3 calibers I'm shooting at the time.

But I have been target shooting so I do not have to run all over to pick it up, when I get a medium USPS postal box full I tumble them.
