I recently contacted Possum Hollow to see if they had a Kwick Trimmer for 30-30. Less then 24 hours later they responded:

I can have you one in about 10 days. $28 to your door.

Does that rule or what?
On MidwayUSA, they cost $25 plus S&H. So, you can actually get a custom product delivered for LESS than it would cost you to buy it off the shelf. They're my new favorite company...

I'm just about to start reloading rifle rounds, so I haven't actually used the product yet. However, I purchased the trimmer and the power adapter based on recommendations by the CG community. I just wanted to let others know that they are willing to work with you and go out of their way to take care of their customers.

Here are the standard sizes:
KT-1: 17 Rem. 221, 222, 222 mag., and 223
KT-2: 22-250 and 6mm Rem.
KT-3: 243, 260, 7-08, and 308
KT-4: 270, 280, 25-06, and 30-06
KT-5: 7 and 300 Magnums
KT-6: 6PPC tight neck only
KT-22: 22PPC tight neck only
KT-284: 6x284, 6.5x284, and 284

I have been using PH trimmers for a few months and they are great and I highly recommend them. The list of available calibers is kind of misleading. I spoke with the owner of PH about a trimmer for 7.5 x 55 Swiss and he said they did not have one available but said I could use a 30-06 or 308 trimmer (can't recall) and manually adjust them so they could work. The ability to have one set of trimmers that can be used on multiple calibers is awesome. However, since they are so inexpensive I would just buy one for each caliber rather than fool with adjusting them.

Yeah, I read somewhere that they are adjustable.
So if you don't like where the bullet is seated, you can adjust the OAL to fit better?

That's great to know, I went cheap and did the Lee trimmer and it gets the job done but takes too much time. I'm going to see if they can do one in .257R

Do possum hollow trimmers index off the case head, or the case neck?

And is either method preferable over the other?

(I know my Lee trim tool indexes off the case head because there's a shaft-thingy that goes through the shell and bottoms out against the tool, through the flash hole.)

It indexes off the shoulder.

Check out the youtube link in my 1st post. It's as close to a pencil sharpener as you can get this side of $400.

He did make up a custom one in .204 Ruger last year for me.
