Need to find somewhere to reload!

Hi All,
I need to find a place to reload 45 ACP. I live in a small apartment in San Diego and I don't have any place to have a reloading station, and also all of my equipment is back in Oklahoma. So what I'm looking for is someone gracious enough to allow me to reload on their press and in exchange I can either pay or reload some extra for the host. Or if you San Diego locals know of a business that hosts reloading stations please let me know. -Ryan

Not a solution, but when I was in a tiny apartment in SF, I mounted my press to a piece of wood and when I wanted to reload, I'd use C-clamps to clamp the press/wood to the kitchen counter, then I'd just stick the press/wood under my bed when I was done.

Problematic if your equipment is in Oklahoma!

I live in a small apartment. I am waiting for my press to be delivered but I was planning on making a folding table that I can clamp the press onto. Then when I'm not using it I can fold it up and store it in the closet.

It takes very little room to reload. I used to have mine C-clamped to the kitchen table, also. Then moved up to one of those kitchen roll-around things like you buy at Wally World. If I needed more room next to me, I would put up one of those portable wooded dinner trays.

Be honest now, is it really the lack of room, or you just don't want to be bothered with assembling/disassembling and set-up/take down your reloading equipment every time you want to reload?

I used to live in a VERY small apartment. I built one of these for next to nothing, and used it for a few years till I got into a house. It may not be ideal, but it'll work till you have more room.

Alright, let me restate my "want". I do not have reloading equipment in California. I do not want to ship it here, I do not want to drive home and get it and I do not want to buy new equipment. So for the time being I would like to mooch off of someone else. Thanks for all of your humble opinions. -Ryan

it'd probably be cheaper in the long run to either buy new or have yours shipped.....if you're paying to use someone elses often, the cost is going to add up quick. That, and i dont know too many people who are keen to letting strangers use the equipment they make things that go BANG with......i wouldn't want anyone messing with my stuff!!!
