"most important thing about ammo is keep a record" ---- "so you can get paid back by your homeowners"
I bet your homeowners excludes it and your fire insurance will also try to not pay off for any damage caused by ammo, powder or primers --

Ammo cans is usually the best way, and throw in a few silica gel packs. For small stock piles of ammo.

What's considered "small"? I need some more ammo cans, big ones to hold cases of ammo. The cans, themselves, are pretty hefty, but at least they don't crack when dropped.
I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.

Anyone who can dissemble and reassemble a firearm can build a cabinet to store ammo/powder/primers/etc in. Get some 2x4s and plywood and go to town. This way you can customize it to your liking. Put a locking latch on the door(s) and call it a day.
