    223 55gr reloaded price check please 1000 rounds

    I buy my powder at $119 for 8lbs. I use 25.1gr of powder in each round. I buy Hornady bullets for $10 per 100. I buy my primers for $24 per 1k.

    That calculates to 17.8 cents per round or $178 per 1k.

        I've never bought any so I didn't include that in the price. 223 is readily available every time I go to the range for free. So sorry, I wouldn't have the slightest idea how much it costs to buy.

            I just found a site that sells once fired 223 for $6 per 100. I entered that in the calculator and it brought up the cost of my ammo to 18.3 cents per round or $183 per 1K assuming I reuse the brass 10 times.

            If I was to buy new brass every time and leave it on the ground, my cost would be 23.7 cents per round or $237 per 1K.
