    .380acp

    Any one reloading for .380acp?
I just bought a Bersa Thunder 380. From what I have read blowback guns can be finicky, usually prefering factory ammo, not much hotter, not much lower. Any advise?

    I have been reloading for a couple years with .40s&w, .38spcl, .357mag, 7.62x54r, 7.62x39.

Any help or preferred loads would be appriciated!

reloading .380 auto is no more difficult than loading 9mm (9x19). In other words, not that difficult at all.

It is no big deal. I have a Walther and a Bursa, run reloads through it all the time. I guess they only thing I can say that is slightly bad is, when you reach the end of powder measure, sometimes you end up with a slightly light load. You won't notice it hardly in any of your other calibers. In the 380, with less room for error, you "might" have a stove pipe with that round, or failure to cycle completely. I personally have not had this happen, but have heard rumors. It does make a little sense.

I was reading in the ABC's of reloading that blowback type guns are more finicky than others and prefer factory type loads, that is why I asked.
            Thanks all for the info!

2 of the 5 .380 pistols that I have are blowback and have no trouble eating any of the reloads that I make. Treat them just the same as any other and work up loads until you find what you/they like.
