So I havent purchased factory ammo in ages...We went snowboarding at Boreal this weekend and decided that we wanted to eat all we can eat Lobster so we took off across the boarder and got side tracked by Cabelas across the street.
I was snooping around and saw Harter's ammo for sale, 3.99 per 20 for 7.62x39. I was tempted since I got a new Saiga so I decided I was going to finally break the long streak of not buying factory ammo and purchased 520 rounds of it. Came out to some 110 bucks after tax. So 0.21 per round. Not too shabby concidering that I load that same round for .08 cents!!!! Anyways, it was an impulse buy. My wife wasnt too happy but I made up for it with all-you-can-eat lobster. LOL.
For those of you who want to cross the boarder to buy ammo, especially 7.62x39, dont got yet for a few more days, I bought the last of them. I wanted more but couldnt and their waiting for more.
