Not a member of that forum but interested...

How do they handle the shipping of the ammo?
        Thanks, Ernie

I'm buying 1 case of m193 and 1 case of the ss109 for myself, and 2 cases of ss109 for my buddy at westpoint.

clicking that send button on the order is gonna kill me though

Professional, here is the info you requested or asked about!

-All ammo is made by The Hunting Shack of Montana (headstamp HSM) except the 12 gauge
            - All ammo is newly manufactured ammo and NOT surplus or overruns/seconds
-If you dont see something you want and need a bunch of it then please PM me with details and I will get you a price.
-Mil Spec means that it will be have the harder primers, crimped, sized and correct pressures and velocities to be shot in military weapons.
-They told me today that by the time we get this ammo they will be raising thier prices again, so buy now!
-There will be delays on the 308/5.56 stuff as the demand is high. expect at least 60 day delays after the order gets sent, for them to make it.
-Shipping will be via UPS and anywhere UPS delivers in the US, including Alaska and Hawaii, and will be determined BY THE MANUFACTURER
-Orders over @100 lbs will qualify for a slighly lower shipping rate per case.
-if you want gearpay then ask for it in the thread
            - I will not be able to quote shipping costs until I submit all the orders. PLEASE DO NOT ASK!! (average price per case on last buy was $19 to lower 48 will be more or less depending how far you are from Montana and what you order (308=more than 223, 44=more than 9mm etc.)

            DIRECTIONS FOR PLACING YOUR ORDER

-Please do not ask me questions in your order message. All questions should be directed to this thread or to me by Private Message on this forum as stated above

1-Title of E-mail order should be "TFL Ammo Order" changes or cancellations should be titled "TFL Ammo Change Order/Cancellation" (which ever is the case)
2-Include your COMPLETE Name, Shipping and Mailing Addresses, and Phone Numbers to actually reach you
3-list each load you want on a separate line with the number of cases you desire for each specific load be clear and specific.
            4-your complete E-mail address
            5- your forum handle/user name
6- verify EVERYTHING before you send it please
7-E-MAIL your order to me at killemall1988@yahoo.com

Method of payment will be Visa, Mastercard, American Express (with 4% card fee added to order total), and Postal Money Order. No Taxes Apply on this order.

I will accept orders until 4 July 2007. I will submit batches of orderr weekly to HSM for shipping quotes. It will take about 5-7 days for them to process and figure the shipping costs on the orders. Once I get your final order totals, you will get an email with your total and payment instructions. If it does not look right then contact me immediately. I will allow TWO WEEKS or NLT 18 July 2007 for payments to be recieved. Once all the payments clear the bank they will go out to HSM with all the orders for them to fill. At that point you will become HSM's customer and status requests should be directed to them. the faster you get me payment, the faster you get your ammo.

Thank you all for reading and following the directions, it will make it possible for me to get this done efficiently and correctly with no screw ups. I will make every effort to be as accomodating as possible, if you will!!

Is HSM the same orange box ammo that used to be common in San Diego gun shops and ranges that was inconsistent and with a high percentage of misfires?

Just hearing HSM gives me the Heebie Jeebies. Almost blew up my Mini-14 with their stuff and had to knock more then a few bullets out of barrels on my handguns on the range bench.

                EDIT
Ouch! Just went to their web page, http://www.thehuntingshack.com That's the stuff I remember. Never again.

I wouldn't touch that ammo no matter the price.

I've shot about 300rds of their once-fired SS109 and it goups about 1/2" at 100yds with my heavy AR build. I was in awe. Too bad I can't shoot this at my usual ranges.
