I got 500 rounds of .223 from Top Brass ( http://www.scharch.com/ ). They sent me .308 by mistake. I contacted them and they promptly made it right by shipping out my .223 and a return label for the .308. The brass is already cleaned and sized, really nice stuff. I could have kept the .308 and just ordered more .223 but I'm an honest guy and they are an honest company.

I have good luck getting brass from Ebay at decent prices. I only buy .40 S&W and .45 ACP though. YMMV

new 5.56 brass (Guatemalan) please don't flame till you try it. weight is not conistant, but it is very strong brass that don't expand easily. i've used hot loads, and had no issues so far.

if it's just for plinking, check this out.

        $89/ 1000!

please note, flashhole is slightly smaller than american made brass. if you use dillon dies, no problem. if you use a rbcs die, you might have an issue with a pin getting stuck in the flashhole when you deprime (happened to me on my rcbs neck size die for .223). otherwise, i had no issues with this brass, and am extremly happy with the quality, but i would not use it for competition use for lack of weight consistancy.
