    .45 LSWC

So I am wondering what powder people like for 200g LSWC's. Shooting out of a SA 1911. Making rounds for plinking. Searched for an answer but I seem to fail every time I search for stuff.

I use 4.7-5 grains of Bullseye

For me, its a nice plinking load. 5 grains of Bullseye was the standard for military ball ammunition.

          Plinking?

5.0gr to 5.4gr of WW 231 will work great with the stock 16# spring, and will be clean and easy to shoot.

4.5gr of WW WST is also a very clean, easy shooting load.

Another very clean load is 4.5gr of VV N310.

All of these with a 200gr LSWC loaded to 1.250" OAL.

I use Bullseye for all my .45ACP and it seems I use 4.6gr for all my 230GR and 5.0gr for all my 185 - 200gr.

            YMMV
