OK, so I found 3 detailed "How-To's" on adjusting the trigger on my Remington 700.
How To #1.
How To #2.
How To #3.
I read all 3 just to make sure they're all in harmony and in case one left something out, another will catch it. Anyways, I'm following them exactly as stated, and when I get to the point of oiling the 3 screws, the trigger stop (over travel) screw seizes up. It'll back out no problem, but won't go in. I'm slowly loosening/tightening and it's slowly going back in, when all of a sudden the screw breaks, leaving no more slot for the screwdriver.
Can I simply get a replacement screw, back this one all the way out, and put the new one in, or did I totally mess something up inside the trigger and have to buy a new trigger assembly? PLEASE HELP!!!
