    Bullets with Collet Pull Marks

Got a batch of these 150gr .308 bullets.

I knew that they were collet pulled, but I didn't anticipate the compression marks.

I thought that I read somewhere that they needed to be 'resized'. True?

Are they safe to load as is? Should I expect any issues with shooting them?

    They are safe to load.

The only problem with the collet marks is with respects to accuracy.

I have some pulled 223 and .308 frangible bullets pulled similarly and I load them as I bought them. I think the ones that need to be sized are the large caliber (.50) bullets. I load my 223 and 30 cal frangibles as I bought them and they give good enough accuracy. I bought them for cheap and they are mainly for close (under 200 yards) blasting ammo. The ammo I loaded for my 223 could stay on a 10" steel plate at 200 yards without any problems.

I wonder if those jackets spring back some over time. I have heard that resizing jacketed bullets can be a real problem if the jacket bounces back over time, aside from separating from the core, the the diameter expands causing pressure issues. But I don't see how you could resize your's, the collet appears to have resized/smashed a portion of the bullet to a smaller diameter, I don't see how you could resize to make them get back to their original size/shape???
